The AWD Controller is a complete plug and play device. There is no setup required and 100% compatible on CAN BUS with either the original ECU or any aftermarket ECU. You have complete control over the AWD system for making custom maps and map selection is through the original torque split toggle NORMAL, SPORT, TRACK.
For the next step up and highly recommended for race customers, there is the ability to install an external map selector and this allows for access to 8 additional map positions!
Burnout mode or 100% lock is available to be programmed on any map position.
From testing with our base maps included in the AWD controller, it is found to have made the Toyota Yaris quicker over 0.5 seconds per kilometer quicker than other brand controllers! This is thanks to the additional mapping capabilities available within the software and the quick communication of the system.
Fully inbuilt to the Kotouc Gearboxes AWD controller is limp control which will protect the complete clutch pack from excessive wear if operating in high temperatures.
A huge advantage when using our software is the complete overview of the whole AWD system. Unlike other programs, there is no clicking of individual tables in separate windows and losing track of what is actually mapped. Full information is available within one screen which makes map building swift and precise.
