The Subaru AWD 50/50 torque tube is the newest product for drivers wanting the absolute maximum torque split of 50/50 all of the time from the STI. In a standard operation, it is necessary to lock the DCCD which then causes extreme wear of the DCCD and in a few short kilometers, the DCCD has started to burn out its friction plates. The 50/50 torque tube is a simple replacement for the DCCD. Only remove the DCCD and install the AWD tube in its place.
